The Winkels

A bit of an update...

Well, the past few weeks have been very eventful and also very enjoyable. I wanted to list a few of the highlights and add a few pics, since we are all aware that they are worth 1000 words.

  • Going on an Easter Pirate Hunt with the Winkelmans. Dave's accent was INCREDIBLE, Bryce was on a roll, and I enjoyed saying "yar" after every sentence.
  • Tucano's with the Winkelman, always a joy to eat their salty meats, amazing salad bar, and my personal fav, creme brule. YUM! Dying eggs with Brycie for his first time. He even named them and became quite attached: Snack Pax, Remix, Keep your tips up, and Ajax. At least he got his bad names used up on the eggs and not on the children :).

  • Having Max Hall come to my class as a reward for my fourth graders. It was so much fun watching them be completely "star struck" and to feel that special bond with them. He was absolutely wonderful with the kids, and they loved every second. They were all trying to decide how much to sell their autographs on ebay for--$5,000 or $10,000.

  • Watching (and listening to) Bryce make many movies of his new songs or talk show ideas...here is my personal fav (don't tell him its on here):

  • Snow in April...boo, not my fav, but good for the drought right?

  • Going to Gateway with Brynnie and Bryce and loving every minute of CPK, Anthropologie (my personal fav) and the drugie, I mean light show.

  • Watching American Idol and loving every second. I am cheering for Carly, David Cook, David Archuleta, and Brookie. Hopelessly devoted. Go America!

Great update! I hope that you name your children the same names as the eggs. They are cute names. Bryce is so gifted at that.

Loved every minute of this. SOOOO happy you put up Bryce's talk show hahahah. Really, that's why we love him. Not only is he gifted at naming eggs as Annie mentioned, but he has so many hidden talents. Way to let the world know.
